Un village, bond\u00e9 de petites maisons avec un mixe de fa\u00e7ades multicolores; splendide, joyeux, du jamais vu (pour moi)! Ma d\u00e9cision \u00e9tait prise. J\u2019ai travaill\u00e9 sur cette toile avec beaucoup d\u2019enthousiasme et de plaisir. Il ne s'agit pas d'une gentille invitation bienveillante \u00e0 un bavardage agr\u00e9able entre amis. Il s'agit plut\u00f4t d'une incitation \u00e0 assumer ses couleurs. Nous, qui vivons dans des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s d\u00e9mocratiques, profitons du privil\u00e8ge d'exprimer publiquement notre opinion \u00e0 propos de chaque couleur et pour toute couleur. Nous exposons ouvertement nos angoisses, nos soucis, nos inqui\u00e9tudes et nos \u00e9motions, intimes comme collectives. Nous nous engageons \u00e0 penser \u00e0 l'avenir en tant que guerri\u00e8res. C'est notre droit, notre devoir pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures.<br \/>Mais nous devons \u00eatre conscients que nous appartenons \u00e0 une minorit\u00e9. Pour la majorit\u00e9 des peuples, la prise de parole en public est une initiative risqu\u00e9e, voire fatale. Un tapis rouge de feuille contrastait avec le vert de la mousse dans les sous-bois d\u2019o\u00f9 jaillissaient des cascades magistrales.<br \/>J\u2019y ai imagin\u00e9 le surgissement d\u2019une femme, ayant pris racine, d\u2019une force inou\u00efe, happ\u00e9e par le bain de lumi\u00e8re retombant en pluie entre les cimes des arbres qui filaient vers le ciel.<br \/>En souhaitant vous faire partager une ambiance surr\u00e9aliste, po\u00e9tique, aux rivages des sensations les plus vari\u00e9es. En \u00e9t\u00e9 quand l'herbe est en fleur elle irradie des couleurs brillantes jaunes et violettes que j'ai essay\u00e9es de fixer sur la toile.
